Bearings
Bearings are the small little components that go inside your wheels to help you get ya roll on. Each set of bearings comes with 8 bearings, 2 for each wheel. Every bearing is universal and will fit in any type of skate wheel. Bearings come in different forms of engineering such as the common Steel Bearings and also Ceramic made bearings. Steel bearings are made with a plastic retainer and Steel bearing balls enclosed in a shield to keep them from breaking and typically cost around $20-$50. Some great Steel bearings are the Bones Big Balls and Bronson Raw. Ceramic made bearings consist of Ceramic balls which are lighter and stronger than the Steel bearings. Ceramic balls roll faster due to less friction and also are self cleaning as apposed to the Steel Bearings. With the higher quality bearings from Bronson Speed Co. and Bones will range you around $80 and others can cost up to $125.
